New Guest Pricing for Meetings and Parties |
|
With the increased price of venues, bands, food and alcohol, the board has decided to increase the cost for guests (non-members) attending parties (with band) and meetings (DJs, no band). The new cost for parties will be $20 and meetings will be $10. Member pricing will remain $5 for parties and FREE for meetings.

A Quick Note from our President |

We finally got a winter! Maybe it was Lane’s snow dance, maybe we were just due, but we have great snow up North.
Heidi and I went on the Instructional two weeks ago. I was a bit skeptical about Shanty Creek, but came away totally impressed. The lift lines were short and the hill had decent vertical. Most everyone took a lesson and mine definitely helped me keep my weight on my downhill ski. If you didn’t go this year, I highly recommend trying it next year.
We just got back from a four-day weekend, skiing The Highlands and Boyne Mountain. Conditions were wonderful there as well. We had 6-8” of legit Colorado-ish powder on Thursday and packed powder the rest of the stay.
We are looking forward to the Terrace Inn weekend. If conditions remain this stellar, it should be one to remember. Darlene has been working hard to fill the entire inn with AASC members and appears to have done that. The Terrace Inn is our largest club trip, with 58 people going this year.
Get up North when you get the chance, it’s great.

The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app. It runs on IOS and Android. Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app. Members have reported problems with the app. An upgrade will correct the issue. You have to delete it from your phone, then reload. |
