Sun Valley Idaho Ski Trip

Alpine:

Sun Valley’s consistent pitch, lack of lift lines and variety of terrain has earned it a reputation as one of the world’s finest ski mountains, for all levels of skiers and riders (36% green; 42% blue; 22% black).  The mountain has 2,400+ acres, a total vertical of 3,400’ (Bald Mtn: base 5,750’; peak 9,150’) serviced by 14 lifts (w/ 1 gondola, 7 high speed quads, 1 high speed 6 pack). 

Nordic:

With 200 km+ of networked trails Sun Valley calls itself “Nordic Town USA”. The Resort has 40 km of groomed trails (fees apply) and a Nordic center with rentals and clinics in addition to the 160 km network throughout the area providing pretty much skiin/ski-out access along with an area bus system to move you from point to point.  There are also dedicated snow shoe trails and multiple ice rinks.

• 7 nights lodging.
• 5 day lift ticket (Alpine option only).

Lodging:

“The Lodge Apartment condos”, beautiful 2 and 3 bedroom suites (2 persons per bedroom), marble baths, gas fireplace, living room, full kitchen, WiFi. Located in Sun Valley village, adjacent to the Sun Valley Lodge with free shuttle to Ketchum and Bald Mountain (10-15 min).  Many of the Nordic trails are accessible via a short walk from the front door!
