Terrace Inn 2025 The annual Terrace Inn weekend is February 7-9, 2025.
The trip is a club favorite and usually sells out. Traditionally, we downhill ski at Nubs Nob on Friday, Boyne Highlands on Saturday and Boyne Mountain on Sunday. The XC and snowshoe people generally make it up on the fly, as does the shopping contingent. Full details are available here.
Signups will begin November 14 at the XC Kickoff meeting. There are a number of changes in policies and signup procedures. If you are planning to sign up for the Terrace Inn trip, please read this section thoroughly!
General Changes:
- Terrace Inn has new owners and as a result, some costs, policies, and deadlines are different than what you may be used to.
- Signups will CLOSE on December 15, 2024.
- The normal trip cancellation policy will be enforced.
New Signup Procedure:
At the Thursday, November 14 XC Kick-Off Meeting
Important Information:
- Priority assignments will be for current trip leaders and board members only.
- You MUST have your contract filled out before you get in line to sign up. You can download it below. We will have contracts available at the check-in desk.
- You must have your check filled out EXCEPT for the final amount prior to getting a room assignment from the signup crew. We will also take credit cards, but you will be charged the 3% processing fee.
- Terrace Inn has five different room types with 10 different prices (single or double occupancy). Decide which one you want and make one or two backup choices as well. Be fully prepared prior to talking to the signup crew.
- We will be running a triage table that will look over your contract and verify payment details prior to actual signup. Your form must be approved prior to room assignment.
- Triage table line will initially form prior to proceeding to room assignment/payment table. Do not jump the line.
- Form verification and signups will be in the bar area
Timeline:
7:15 pm Doors Open: Form a line, check in at the membership table, then go to the triage table to begin having contract and payment verified.
7:15 pm Proceed to room assignment. Pay amount for your room and get receipt.
8:00 pm Meeting starts
Terrace Inn contracts and checks mailed in after the meeting will be processed in order of postmark date.
If the trip fills, a wait list will be started.

The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app. It runs on IOS and Android. Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app. Members have reported problems with the app. An upgrade will correct the issue. You have to delete it from your phone, then reload.
