Spring training is here, and baseball is back!
The Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council is doing a Baseball Game again this year: it’s the Crosstown Classic!
GAME: Da Cubs vs. Da Sox
DATE: Sunday, July 27, 1:10 pm
VENUE: Rate Field, Home of the Chicago White Sox
AVAILABILITY: Only 60 seats available. So reserve yours ASAP.
FEATURES:
• Game seats in the upper deck, left field, Section 552
• Two-hour pre-game party at Rate Field’s “Patio” space
o The Patio is an indoor space, field level, right field, with views of playing field
o Shared picnic-style tables with additional space to mix and mingle
o Inclusive of food and drinks
• Baseball Buffet includes:
o BBQ ribs, Cajun chicken, fried chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, coleslaw, macaroni, potato, and pasta salads
o Domestic and imported beer, wine, Coke products, and water
• Patio event starts 90 min. before start of game; ends 30 min. after start of game
PRICE: $96 per person, by check (payable to CMSC).

• Limited space available. 60 tickets reserved for CMSC. First come, first served.
• Once the block of tickets is gone, CMSC will start a waiting list. We MAY be able to get more. But the game seats may be in a DIFFERENT section of the stadium.
• Purchases by CMSC Clubs
Up until May 1, CMSC clubs may purchase a block of up to 10 tickets by a club check to sell to their members. After May 1, the 10-seat limit is removed.
o Participants’ names are requested at the time of purchase, if possible, but NO LATER THAN 7/20/25
• Purchases by Individuals
o Names are required AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.
• Guests
o Club members are welcome to bring their non-member friends and family.
FINE PRINT:
• Admittance is BY E-TICKET ONLY. Your seat will be linked to your email address.
• Email addresses are required for all participants to assign seating.
• No price reduction for children.
• Transportation/Parking is NOT included, but information on transportation and parking options will be distributed ahead of time to registered guests.
• Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. Tickets ARE transferable IF the replacement name is submitted to the Baseball Event Manager by 7/24/25.
o NOTE: CMSC MAY be able to fill cancelled spots IF we have a waiting list.
