On Sunday August 23, 2026 the club held it's annual Corn Roast at Montibeller park in Ypsilanti. It was a great location to hold the event. Volunteers shucked corn, grilled corn and hot dogs, and set up the pavilion for an amazing event. Our members and guests brought a large variety of dishes to pass which were enjoyed by all.

Music was provided by Velvet Walrus who had a large number of people dancing through out the afternoon. Some also had fun playing giant Jenga, Kerplunk, and other fun yard games.

We had several new members join the club, several rejoin who had not been in many years, and many guests join us at the Corn Roast.
