A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the Corn Roast on Sunday 21-AUG. It was great to see so many familiar and also new faces.

The Corn Roast Committee did a great job pulling everything together. Alan Osterdale (Corn Roast Czar), Cheryl Anderson, Darlene Morin, Cheryl Render, Ken Shannon, Mike Timmerman, and Jennifer Turner deserve special mention for their organizing work on this committee.

Thank you to the Board of Directors who rallied at the last minute to make this event possible when the weather forecast on Friday prophesied a deluge of Biblical scale. (Didn't happen.)

A huge thank you to The Moose Lodge who let us use their building with less than 48 hours’ notice. What an incredible space.

For those who aren't familiar with The Moose Charities. They sponsor and support underprivileged children.

They support a school for children and teens in Mooseheart, IL to help children in need. They also support local sports and recreation programs for children in need.

And thank you to everyone who attended because, as always, the more the merrier!

The club has scheduled several more events at the Ypsi Moose Lodge, including an End-o-Summer gathering on 8-SEP.

During that evening you will have the opportunity to join while having the $20 administration fee waived.

SKINIKS Trip Update

Gerlinda Melchiori, our liaison with the Southeast Michigan SKINIKS club that specializes in trips to Europe, reports that their flyer and registration form has been updated.

The Paris extension got dropped and the wording on trip options has been improved.
