at the Ypsi Freighthouse

Signups for the Instructional Trip start at the
Corn Roast
|
|
The Instructional Trip to Schuss/Shanty Creek is a great early season tune up! It includes (optional) downhill or cross-country lessons for beginners to advanced skiers.
We've moved it one weekend later, to start on Friday, January 10, so that it's not immediately after New Year's.

On the first Tuesday of every month, meet at 5:00 PM at Red Robin for their Happy Hour drinks and a bite to eat. If you don't feel like watching a movie, stop in for dinner, a drink and conversation.
Then we will head across the street for a movie at Cinemark Ann Arbor 20 IMAX. (Tuesday is discount night.) Hosted by Nancy Noll.

Fall (School) Colors Picnic
|

Last picnic of the season! Wear the colors of the team you root for (or not), and join us at the Burns Park shelter at 1300 Baldwin Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, condiments, beer, wine, water and paper products will be supplied. Bring a dish to share (optional). Please sign up here to help!

Spend a day with the ski club exploring Belle Isle. Bike, Hike, Kayak, or Do Whatever You Like. Join us for lunch after at Atwater Brewery in Detroit. The trip is free, with a $10 fee to enter Belle Isle, and the cost of your lunch. Space is limited. Click here for more information and to sign up.

These trips are booked for 2025: Jan 10-12 Instructional at Shanty Creek - signups begin at Corn Roast Feb 7-9 Terrace Inn at Petoskey - signups begin at the Nov 14 meeting Feb 22 - Mar 1 Sun Valley - full, 1 on wait list, may have room for a couple March 8-15 Banff, Canada - full, 1 on wait list March 22 - 29 Vail - room for a couple or 2 people willing to share a room/bed Note: First payments for Sun Valley and Banff ski trips are due by the Corn Roast. If you are on one of these trips, you should have been contacted by the trip leaders. First Payment for Vail is September 4. |

The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app. It runs on IOS and Android. Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app. Members have reported problems with the app. An upgrade will correct the issue. You have to delete it from your phone, then reload. |
