Trivia Night
at Mt. Brighton

Thursday, February 2 at 7:30 pm at Mt. Brighton.

Trivia Host and Member Jim Kelly will be hosting an Ann Arbor Ski Club Trivia Night designed especially for our club. Plan on more socializing and less meeting as we compete for prizes for the winning player(s).

      Club Ski Night
      at Mt. Brighton

      Wed. Jan. 15, Feb. 1 and Feb. 15 at 6:00

      Come join us and Ski or Snowboard at Mt. Brighton with the club.  An option open to members only is for extra pointers and instruction- Please sign up on our website if you are interested.

      The club has many ski instructors that are members that will give some pointers (for free) to people signed up for this event. 

      **YOU MUST BE A MEMBER TO SIGN UP FOR SKI LESSONS**

      After skiing, plan to meet in the Ore Creek bar for some socializing.

            News & Info

            MACC Racing at Boyne

            There is venue change for this weekend (January 21 - 22). Races will be held on North Boyne for this weekend only. If you have not picked up your race Bib or need to register as a racer or a guest for Saturday's race, please contact Alan Osterdale before Saturday, or look for any MACC racer at Boyne. (Alan will not be there this weekend as he is running the Whistler ski trip.)

            Awards will be presented for Saturday's race results at the Snowflake Lounge at the Clock Tower Hotel on the upper floor.

            Instructional Ski Trip

            Twenty-one Ski Club members went on the Instructional Trip to Shanty Creek January 6-8. A fun weekend of skiing, lessons, laughs and friendship.

            Seventeen ski club members enjoyed cross country skiing at Stokely Creek lodge in Canada last week.

            A2SC Texting Service

            The Ann Arbor Ski Club texting service for members is now operational and available for sign-up. To use this optional service you must opt in by updating your A2SC membership profile.

            Here’s How:

            Log in to the A2SC website. (Hint - Use the email address where you received this eBlast)

            Once logged in follow these steps:

            1. Click the large red “Edit Profile” box.
            2. Head down to “We would like to send you relevant text messages”.
            3. To read the consent agreement click the link that says “I consent to receive text messages. From….” . Note that it will open in a separate window.
            4. Return to the original window to consent to the agreement by checking the box next to the link. Leave blank if you do not agree or do not want to receive text messages.
            5. Return to the top of the page and click the large red “Save” box.
            6. To log out click the person icon in the upper right corner and select “Log Out”.

            After that look forward to receiving your first text alert in the next few days.

            A2SC Mobile App

            The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app.  It runs on IOS and Android.  Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app.

            Members have reported problems with the app.  An upgrade will correct the issue.  You have to delete it from your phone, then reload.
