Ski Club Holiday Party!

    UA Local 190, 7920 Jackson Road, AA
  • Festive attire is encouraged but not required.
  • We are collecting new hats, gloves or warm socks for the Delonis Center in AA. (We are NOT collecting canned goods as previously noted.) They provide emergency shelter and services for Washtenaw County.
  • $5 cash non-members at the door.

Euchre Night
  • Euchre Night on December 17 is cancelled for this month but will start again in January.  
  • We are excited to announce a new location for Euchre - Venue in Ann Arbor. This brand new restaurant/banquet space is at 1919 S. Industrial Boulevard. The club will have their own space and be able to eat and drink off their current menus (which are extensive). Dana Arning will be hosting Euchre Night on Saturdays - Jan. 21, Feb. 18, March 18 and April 15. We welcome members and non members that are over 18 to participate. Look for more information in January.

Meet & Greet

Have you ever wondered if you could ski like Bode Miller or Mikaela Shiffrin on a race course, or just wanted to try? Curious about racing? Come join us to learn more:

We have two different ski race programs- for everyone from skilled racers to novices.

MACC Ski races are at Boyne Mountain on FIS and Super Bowl with a Slalom and a GS Race: January 7-8, January 21-22, Feb. 3-4, Feb 25-26, March 10-12.

Beer League Race Team at Mt. Brighton on Wednesday nights for 8 weeks of NASTAR racing.

A2SC Texting Service

The Ann Arbor Ski Club texting service for members is now operational and available for sign-up. To use this optional service you must opt in by updating your A2SC membership profile.

Here’s How:

Log in to the A2SC website. (Hint - Use the email address where you received this eBlast)

Once logged in follow these steps:

  1. Click the large red “Edit Profile” box.
  2. Head down to “We would like to send you relevant text messages”.
  3. To read the consent agreement click the link that says “I consent to receive text messages. From….” . Note that it will open in a separate window.
  4. Return to the original window to consent to the agreement by checking the box next to the link. Leave blank if you do not agree or do not want to receive text messages.
  5. Return to the top of the page and click the large red “Save” box.
  6. To log out click the person icon in the upper right corner and select “Log Out”.

After that look forward to receiving your first text alert in the next few days.

A2SC Mobile App

The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app.  It runs on IOS and Android.  Jeff Carpenter has written a nice piece on how to download the app.

Members have reported problems with the app.  An upgrade will correct the issue.  You have to delete it from your phone, then reload.
