National Ski Council Federation Formally established in 1999, it consists of the largest 29 ski councils in the United States and boasts a total membership of approximately 300,000 snowsports enthusiasts. Our club is in the Metropolitan Detroit Ski Council. |
U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum Located in Ishpeming, Michigan near the shores of Lake Superior. It was established in 1954. The year our club was founded. Besides recognizing America's skiing greats, it has accumulated an outstanding collection of skiing material, both artifacts and archives, which preserves and reflects the great skiing tradition and heritage of skiing in the United States.
Historical weather data, and every last measurable detail on 220 North American resorts gathered into a searchable database. The International Skiing History Association A not-for-profit corporation, whose mission is to preserve and advance the knowledge of ski history and to increase public awareness of the sport’s heritage. ISHA publishes a bimonthly magazine, Skiing History, filled with lively, carefully researched stories and stunning images from skiing’s past, prepared by the sport’s most experienced, most respected writers and editors. |
