The trip includes:

• Preparty – date and place to be announced. Food and drinks provided. 

• Friday night Reception Party includes Homemade Terrace Inn Pizza and Salad

• Saturday and Sunday Buffet Breakfast, and Saturday Buffet Dinner and appetizers

• Terrace Inn Happy Hour (cannot bring your own alcohol in the common areas of the Inn)

• All gratuities included. (except bar service)

Room Assignments: Trip leaders will advise you of the rooms available. You cannot contact the Inn to request a specific room.

Additional Nights: Extra nights can be arranged by calling the Inn directly at 800-530- 9898 ask for the special Club pricing. Also, the Thunderbird Ski Club is going to the Terrace Inn right before ours, you can go on that trip as an MDSC member.

On Sunday night, there needs to be a minimum of 10 rooms booked for the club to keep the Inn open.

Skiing: Alpine skiers usually ski Nubs Nob Friday, Boyne Highlands Saturday, and Boyne Mountain Sunday. Nordic skiers can ski at Wildwood, Boyne Mountain, and many surrounding State and local parks. Excludes Lift tickets and trail passes.

Rooms and Roommates: Due to the uniqueness of the Inn, the number of twin bedrooms are limited. Some standard rooms have a single queen or king bed. There is a total of 29 rooms at the standard rate. Queen and king suites are available for an additional cost. If you are requesting a double occupancy room, we encourage you to try and find your own roommate. We will make every effort to match you with a roommate, but this is not guaranteed. If there is no other single to share a room you will be offered Single Occupancy pricing or you can cancel.

Trip Itinerary: Friday: Check in after 3:00 pm. The evening begins at 6:30 pm with a Reception Party, followed by socializing by the fire in the great room. Terrace Inn bar will be open. Saturday: Breakfast 8-10 a.m. Appetizers at 5:30 Dinner is served at 7:00 pm followed by socializing, cards, games. Terrace Inn bar will be open. Sunday: Breakfast 8-10 a.m. is followed by check-out by 11 a.m. and skiing.

Wonderful cross-country skiing is at nearby Wildwood Hills Pathway and at both Nubs Knob and Boyne Highlands ski resorts. 

Expert Tip:  Some A²SC XC skiers stop and ski on the way to Terrace Inn at Hanson Hills, Forbush Corner, or Wildwood.

Terrace Inn Trip Sign Up Procedure:

Important Information:

• Please have your contract filled out before you sign up. You can download it here. We will have contracts available.
• Terrace Inn has many different room types and 6 different prices.
• The club will use a sign-up list to establish the order that applicants will be processed.
• These people will be given first choice of accommodations: Trip Leaders, followed by Board of Directors, then people who volunteer to help at the meeting via signup genius. All other members will be taken in the order of the sign-up list.

Doors Open: Other members may get in line for a list to sign up

Trip Leaders and Board Members sign up and turn in contracts and checks                       

7:15 pm

Volunteers sign up and turn in contracts and checks

Other members may put their name on the sign-up list

7:30-7:45 pm  

All other members sign up – You must have your completed contract ready, with your checkbook ready to complete, or a credit card.

1. Everyone on the sign-up list gets in line, based on their number from the sign-up list.
2. We will begin processing trip applicants-- acceptance of the signed contract, your check and return of receipt of payment.

We will stop processing contracts at 7:45 when the meeting begins.

As people arrive, they may continue to add their names to the bottom of the sign-up list.

• Terrace Inn contracts and checks mailed in after the meeting will be processed in order of postmark date.
• If the trip fills, a wait list will be started.
