Tour downtown on bike! Enjoy the wide, quiet, and bicycle friendly streets of Detroit. The general plan is to start at the Motor City Casino where we'll take advantage of its ginormous and free parking.
From there we'll ride west to Mexican Town, Delray, then north to Boston-Edison then back downtown to the Riverfront.
The ride is about 20 miles. We'll take an easy pace with numerous stops to absorb the sights. Then, join the gang après ride for food.
After claiming your parking spot meet at the corner of Spruce and Brooklyn Street, on the south side of the casino behind the Sound Board Theater.
What to bring: A good working bike, a little cash, water, and a helmet.
