To celebrate the change of seasons and, well, just to get everyone together for some fun, we’re organizing a group Hay Ride and Bon Fire again this year, at Brighton Recreation Riding Stable (6660 Chilson Road, Howell, MI - GPS: 42.503968, -83.859079) in the Brighton State Recreation Area (see map below).
Cost will be $20.00 per person (“pay at the door”- cash or check)
This includes our own private bon fire, the hayride and pizza and water. Our party will run from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM or whenever you feel you’ve had enough fun.
Plan to arrive at 7:00 pm. After you’ve paid inside the office building and get your wristband, look for our group’s bonfire between the parking lot and the barn. We’ll begin socializing around our private bon fire. When Hayrides begin, there will be room for twenty on each wagon, and the wagons leave every half-hour. So, if there’s not enough room for all of us on one wagon, we can hang out by the fire for the next wagon. Following the Hayride, we’ll return to our bon fire for more socializing.
If the weather threatens, we’ll make a decision by 4:00 pm and put a note on our Facebook page.
If it’s raining at all at 4:00 PM, it will be cancelled.
