State of the Club

Houston We Have a Problem

Chance of rain 95% with a high probability of threatening electrical storms too. The Corn Roast had to move. Facebook and Meetup posts were quickly entered, the club's calendar got updated, and an emergency eBlast went out.

By the time the Corn Roast started over 400 members and contacts opened the eBlast and learned from it that the Roast got moved to the Moose Lodge in Ypsi. (One member got the word from your editor at about 12:30 pm.)

Corn Roast 2022 happened, and people stayed dry. The last-minute scramble worked.

SKINIKS Trip Update

Gerlinda Melchiori, our liaison with the Southeast Michigan SKINIKS club that specializes in trips to Europe, reports that their flyer and registration form has been updated.

The Paris extension got dropped and the wording on trip options has been improved.

Moose Lodge 782

A few club events will be held at the Moose Lodge in Ypsi. The club just held the Corn Roast there. The new Euchre Night will happen at the Moose Lodge and an End of Summer Celebration has been scheduled there on 8-SEP.
