Notes

  • Two trip types (Typ) approved so far; (D)ownhill and (C)ombined Downhill and Cross-Country
  • Telluride, Breckenridge, and Ogden pricing is tentative until Southwest fares are released this summer.  We'll decide then whether to keep existing reservations.  We're expecting them to, as in seasons past, go down at that time.
  • An EPIC pass, good at Telluride and Breckenridge, can be acquired at a $100 discount when purchased in conjunction with these trips.  If you already have an Epic pass you will be entitled to a deducted trip price equivalent to the negotiated 5-day pass at each of these resorts, respectively $393 and $566.
  • The Instructional Trip is still only proposed and not approved. A BOD decision will be made by the Corn Roast.
  • Telluride lodging is conveniently located in the main village.  Telluride is one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Rocky Mountains.  The San Juan mountains are "North America's Alps."
  • Lift tickets are not included in the Terrace Inn trip.
  • A 5-day ski pass for the Davos trip, designed to appeal to non-skiing partners, is $280.
  • Davos lodging is a four-star luxury hotel (Sunstar) with breakfast and dinner included.
  • The leaders are working on a 3-day extension option to Zurich after skiing in Davos.
  • Breckenridge lodging is at a ski-in, ski-out complex near town with both condos and hotel rooms available.
  • Housing in Ogden is at the downtown Bigelow Hotel; hot breakfast included.
  • Ogden resorts are; Powder Mountain and Snowbasin; 2-day tickets each.

Thank You!

Club President Greg Robertson announced a change in the executive ranks.

Cheryl Anderson has assumed the title and key role of A2SC Treasurer.  Cheryl is replacing our dedicated and longtime member, Carol Metty, who has served in that role tirelessly for a number of years.

[Her secret is safe with me!]

A lot of members already understand that the A2SC, which serves up lots of local events and activities, including ten General Meetings costing around $1000 each, is also a travel business handling many times that amount.

About two hundred times per year, year after year, a member entrusts a size-able amount of his or her vacation dollars to the club expecting it to be handled properly and spent wisely.  And, our Treasurer is the primary reason why that keeps happening, year after year.  When you get a chance, say thanks to the people who keep us in the business of sharing cool vacations.
