        Corn Roast is
        Sunday!

        Please plan to attend the Corn Roast:

        • Sunday, August 27 from 1:00-4:00 
        • Historic Freight House in Ypsilanti: 
          100 Market Pl, Ypsilanti, MI 48198
          Park at the Frog Island parking lot across the street.
        • The club will provide corn, hot dogs, beverages and tableware. 
        • Please plan to bring a dish to pass. 
        • Live music by Spark. 
        • Sign-ups for the Instructional Trip! 
        $5 for members and guests. Cash or checks preferred.

        Looking for members to help with food at meetings!

        Do you like to cook? Do you have a favorite recipe that you can scale up for a large crowd? We are looking for members to help with food for our upcoming meetings. Please contact Betty Cornell via email or text 517-392-7222. You will be reimbursed for your costs.

        Reminder: Payments are due for week-long ski trips

        Trip Payments for Zermatt, Snowmass and Steamboat trips are due on or before the Corn Roast on August 27. For most individuals who have signed up for Snowmass and Steamboat, a payment of $850 is due. A payment of $1,300 is due for Zermatt. (Those with single room supplements may owe more.) You may bring your check(s) to the Corn Roast and take them to the trip table.

        Last Chance for Rewards Program!

        As we go into the new 2023-24 membership year on May 1, we will be discontinuing the Rewards program. Anyone with volunteer reward points will be able to redeem them until the Corn Roast on August 27. After this date, the A2 ski club will open a club store where different items can be purchased.

        Please contact Lisa Salisbury to redeem your points for merchandise and also find out how many you have. Click here to see the rewards flyer.

            A2SC Texting Service

            The Ann Arbor Ski Club texting service for members is now operational and available for sign-up. To use this optional service you must opt in by updating your A2SC membership profile.

            Here’s How:

            Log in to the A2SC website. (Hint - Use the email address where you received this eBlast)

            Once logged in follow these steps:

            1. Click the large red “Edit Profile” box.
            2. Head down to “We would like to send you relevant text messages”.
            3. To read the consent agreement click the link that says “I consent to receive text messages. From….” . Note that it will open in a separate window.
            4. Return to the original window to consent to the agreement by checking the box next to the link. Leave blank if you do not agree or do not want to receive text messages.
            5. Return to the top of the page and click the large red “Save” box.
            6. To log out click the person icon in the upper right corner and select “Log Out”.

            After that look forward to receiving your first text alert in the next few days.

            A2SC Mobile App

            The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app.  It runs on IOS and Android.  Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app.

            Members have reported problems with the app.  An upgrade will correct the issue.  You have to delete it from your phone, then reload.
