Pre-Election Meeting with Line Dancing this week!

Our Pre-Election meeting this Thursday, March 9 at 7:30 pm at the UA Hall will include:

  • Meeting with updates on what's happening with the club
  • Line Dancing lessons with Nancy Noll
  • Dancing to DJ Paul

Want to meet some new friends, feel part of the club? Then come pitch in at our meeting. The club needs help with food, set up, membership or hospitality. Click here to signup.

      Change in Membership Dues

      Membership dues will be changed from $20 to $30 for the 2023-24 membership year. (We have had a $20 reduction in the standard $40 annual dues for a number of years.) Dues for the 2024-25 year will be $40.

      The membership term is from May 1 to April 30. Anyone who joins or renews their membership within 60 days of May 1 will have their membership expire on April 30 of the following year.

          Rewards Program to be Discontinued

          As we go into the new 2023-24 membership year on May 1, we will be discontinuing the Rewards program. Anyone with volunteer reward points will be able to redeem them until the Corn Roast on August 27. After this date, the A2 ski club will open a club store where different items can be purchased.

              Week-long Ski Trips for 2024

              As we put all the details together for our 2024 trips, here are some dates to help plan:

              • Zermatt, Switzerland & Milan, Italy - Feb. 2-12
              • Snowmass, Colorado - Feb. 17-24
              • Steamboat, Colorado- March 2024 (dates tbd)

              These are All IKON pass resorts.

                  MACC Race Team Info

                  Come cheer on our club favorite VP Todd Newman and the rest of Ann Arbor Race Team at the last race of the year at Boyne this weekend, March 10-12. We will be at North Boyne FIS/Superbowl. If you come, the Race Team would like to invite you to our annual cook-out of Hamburgers on Saturday at the Othmar Chalet Warming Hut by the FIS/Superbowl lift.

                  As always, we welcome guest racers. To guest race it best to sign-up on the MACC Racing web site or at 9 am or 11:30am on the day of the race at the Othmar Warming hut. Cost $10 a race.

                  A2SC Texting Service

                  The Ann Arbor Ski Club texting service for members is now operational and available for sign-up. To use this optional service you must opt in by updating your A2SC membership profile.

                  Here’s How:

                  Log in to the A2SC website. (Hint - Use the email address where you received this eBlast)

                  Once logged in follow these steps:

                  1. Click the large red “Edit Profile” box.
                  2. Head down to “We would like to send you relevant text messages”.
                  3. To read the consent agreement click the link that says “I consent to receive text messages. From….” . Note that it will open in a separate window.
                  4. Return to the original window to consent to the agreement by checking the box next to the link. Leave blank if you do not agree or do not want to receive text messages.
                  5. Return to the top of the page and click the large red “Save” box.
                  6. To log out click the person icon in the upper right corner and select “Log Out”.

                  After that look forward to receiving your first text alert in the next few days.

                  A2SC Mobile App

                  The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app.  It runs on IOS and Android.  Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app.

                  Members have reported problems with the app.  An upgrade will correct the issue.  You have to delete it from your phone, then reload.
