General Meeting Schedule 2022-2023
|
The Board of Directors announced next year's General Meeting schedule. Soon to be added to our calendar are these dates. |
- Corn Roast- Sunday, August 21
- September 29, 2022- 1st General Meeting
- October 20, 2022- Halloween Party
- November 10, 2022- Cross Country Kick Off
- December 8, 2022- Christmas
- January 2023- No Meeting this month
- February 9, 2023- Mt. Brighton
- March 9, 2023- Pre-Election Warmup
- March 30, 2023- Annual Business Meeting & Elections
- April 20, 2023- Aloha Party

Note that the Corn Roast will not be on the last Sunday of August as is traditional. The venue was taken, and therefore the BOD decided to shift the Corn Roast one weekend forward. However! Sticking with recent tradition Alan Osterdale has agreed again to be our Corn Roast Czar. Until he gets it right! Thanks Alan!! |

New Membership Year
|
|
|
The new membership year has started, and the club has returned to requiring dues to remain active, $20 for the 2022-2023 season. |
You can renew or join online, by mail, or at one of our meetings. |

BTW, Membership renewal is going very well. 174 have completed their renewals, while 228 renewals are pending. A quick glance at the recently 213 lapsed memberships revealed a lot of stalwarts that are likely to rejoin in the legacy fashion-- at our Corn Roast. Therefore, it appears we are on track for an active membership over 400. Are there any old-timers left that can remind us when that last happened!? This is exciting. |

Volunteers on The Move
|
Some job shuffling has occurred. New faces are stepping up and old ones are smiling more broadly as the load gets lightened. Not that it wasn't fun! But turnover is a sign of good health for a club like ours so that's nice to see. More will be written about this in future issues. But, for now note this change; Anne Gilbert is taking over managing the club's calendar. Thanks Anne! |

Apparently, some folks from the old country pronounce it Gilbert, but spell it G-I-L-C-H-R-I-S-T. Or Something! We ran this the last 2 weeks in our State of the Club section of the eBlast! Sarrrrry! |
