New Membership Year

Emails invoicing current members for annual dues will be sent on Wednesday.  A reminder will go out in 2 weeks. At 60 days your membership will lapse if by then your dues have not arrived.  (You can still renew old-school style at club meetings.)

MIS (Multiple Invoices Syndrome) If you have MIS-- invoices keep coming after you know you're paid-up!  Then we have a problem that needs correction.    It probably means you have multiple contact entries in our database.  Perhaps you re-enrolled in order to change your email address.  This happens often.  If you see this, contact our membership chair, Nancy Marcotte, and she'll see that it gets fixed. BTW It is not necessary to create a new account if your email changes.  You can change your email by updating your profile.  Having trouble getting this done?  Contact us.

This year your membership card will be waiting for you on our server.  You'll be able to download and print it.

Download a PDF image of your membership card at any time.  Two versions are available.  One set up for printing, and one optimized for a smartphone.  

Your card will always be available for reprinting or recopying at your profile on our server.  You can get there by using that link in the preceding sentence.  Or, by clicking on the peep icon always in the upper right corner of our web pages.

When you get there you'll see something like this;

In addition to displaying your first and last name, the card will list your member ID number (a system thing), your Member Since and Member Renewal Dates, our logo, and your profile picture. 

See those links under the card?  That's it! Get your card right there.

If you haven't uploaded a profile picture your card will display an invisible dude wearing a tie and bowler hat.

Travel Tip

The Transportation Safety Administration has a trusted traveler program that can make air travel less stressful and more enjoyable.   On their website they say;

"With a 5 year, $85 membership, you can speed through security and don’t need to remove your: shoes, laptops, liquids, belts and light jackets."

Even if you only fly once a year it's probably worth it. Check it out.
