at the UA Hall, 7920 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103 The meeting, beginning at about 7:30, will include: - Announcements (Todd Newman)
- Cross Country Ski Presentation (Lane Hotchkiss)
- Snow Dance (All)

Dear Ann Arbor Ski Club Meetup Member,
As of November 12, the Ann Arbor Ski Club meetup group will go away, largely due to increasing fees from Meetup. If you’re still interested in attending Ann Arbor Ski Club events, here’s how to find them:
- On Facebook, join the Ann Arbor Ski Club group,
- Check our calendar on our website.
- Become a paid Ann Arbor Ski Club member ($40 per year) and receive our bi-weekly newsletter. Membership also entitles you to go on our trips, and attend our meetings for free and parties for a reduced rate ($5) over guest fees ($20).
NOTE: If you receive this newsletter, you'll be all set to receive updates on ski club events. Thanks to Nancy Brucken, who has been our Meetup administrator and will continue to manage our website calendar. |

Shanty Creek, AKA The Instructional (Jan 9-11), has added some additional rooms based on demand!
We have one single woman looking for a roommate and a couple of other condos. Signups at the Cross Country Kick-off Meeting tomorrow. For more information, click here.

We are now down to 8 rooms for our Terrace Inn weekend. We currently have very limited availability of King Standard, King Suite, Queen Standard and Twin, so you can still have your pick of room type. In addition, the family apartment is open if you want to put three in a room. We will have a sign up table at the Cross-Country kickoff this Thursday, so if you want to get in front of that line, you should register online. If your desired room appears to be unavailable, please contact Todd Newman, as there is slightly more availability than the website shows (due to some technical limitations). The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app. It runs on IOS and Android. Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app. Members have reported problems with the app. An upgrade will correct the issue. You have to delete it from your phone, then reload. |
