The Corn Roast is:

this Saturday, August 16 from 4-8 pm
at Burns Park: 1300 Baldwin Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104

(Corner of Wells and Baldwin)

The club provides grilled corn and hot dogs, condiments, plates and utensils, plus wine, beer and soft drinks. Please bring a dish to pass.

Terrace Inn 2026 Sign-Ups

This year we will begin signups for Terrace Inn at the Corn Roast. We are doing this for a few reasons: First, and most importantly, the Terrace Inn has pulled their reservation timing forward. Last year, this left us short on time between sign up and our "drop dead" date with the Terrace Inn. We can't pull forward to October, because of the Halloween Party and the trip leaders are out of town in Sept., so here we are. August is the new November. Additionally, having two trip sign-ups at the corn roast will help get back the old school "buzz" around the event.

We will add a "deli number" feature to hold your place in line. Of course, you will need to be there when your number gets called, but this will allow you to get a beverage and mingle a bit with your friends. We will continue to run triage on the contracts. They must be filled out correctly prior to requesting a room. As always, you will be signing up for a trip and cancellation fees will apply if you decide not to go for any reason.

Shanty Creek, AKA the Instructional, Trip Sign-Ups

We plan to start sign-ups for Shanty Creek, AKA the Instructional Trip (Jan 9-11, 2026) at the Corn Roast. Contracts are not yet available on the website as we are finalizing some details with Shanty. We will have copies of contracts available at the Corn Roast.

This trip, once again, includes a free group lesson for any Ann Arbor Ski Club member!
