The sparks of creative energy ignite shoppers like a quickly spreading wildfire at the magical bazaar for original Halloween art known as Ghoultide Gathering. This is the 8th year for the event, which has proven to be a phenomenon for artists and customers alike. It is almost as if there is too much imagination in one space. Given the common theme, it’s thrilling to witness the vision of three dozen artists as they present their interpretations of All Hallow’s Eve. The artisans generally give a nod to the past with their storytelling or choice of medium. Thoughtful displays are filled with everything from spine-tingling sculptures to characters from childhood. Monsters, witches and skeletons mingle with art dolls, toys, and pumpkin-headed folk. The result is a distinctive, eclectic show where everyone enjoys sharing their passion for the season.
