Socializing on and off the slopes since 1954!
Meet at 5:00 PM at Red Robin for their Happy Hour drinks and a bite to eat.
During dinner, we will discuss which film is the best one to see.
If you don't feel like watching a movie, stop in for dinner, a drink and conversation.
Then we will head across the street for a $5 movie at Cinemark Ann Arbor 20 IMAX.
The Fowling Warehouse in Ypsilanti is welcoming the Ann Arbor Ski Club for Euchre again this winter! They offer over 40 different beers, wine, and mixed drinks at very reasonable prices. They do not serve food; HOWEVER they have an extensive list of restaurants that provide carry out services and deliver. There is no shortage of food options to choose from should you want a meal or a snack.
We play a casual and friendly 5-round game with a different partner for each round.
Bicycle rides starting the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays 6:30 PM.
Come join the group: Meet at the M-36 and US-23 Park and ride at 9797 9 Mile Rd, Whitmore Lake, MI 48189. The plan is to go west down trail. There will be turnaround points designated for different people in the group to decide to press on or turn back with others interested in doing so at that check point. If the water on the ground isn't frozen, Phillip plans to ride (so, above 35 F), and hopes others will join him! For further info, text Phillip at (517) 414-5209

One excellent way to get to know the club and meet members, or to learn what's new in the club is to come to a General Meeting.
The fun typically includes ice-breaking conversation over snacks and beverages followed by dancing to a DJ's tunes, with the business conducted in-between. Some nights more business happens, but on a typical evening it's concluded in about 30 minutes leaving plenty of time for entertainment. What kind of business? Filling up trips! Announcing trips, answering questions. Also, announcing and answering questions regarding upcoming events. And asking and answering questions!

Fun for everyone. If you just want to relax in a pool, play games, go for a walk, go for a long hike, see the sites, ride a train, bike 5 miles or over 30 miles: This is the trip for you.
We are staying at the Quality Inn & Suites hotel where there is a pool. An area for us to just relax, a recreation center to play games. Then beautiful sites to see.
Whether you bike the old tow path from the Ohio & Erie Canal or hike the park’s beautiful trails, you’re bound to love Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
The tow path is crushed limestone, but quite suitable for road bikes. There are also paved scenic paths connecting to the Cleveland Metroparks.
Hiking offers a variety of choices. You can hike to a number of waterfalls or enjoy the scenic rock formations along “the Ledges” trail. In the spring, the Heron also nest in the park and the sight is amazing.

Sun Valley’s consistent pitch, lack of lift lines and variety of terrain has earned it a reputation as one of the world’s finest ski mountains, for all levels of skiers.
The resort has 40 km of groomed Nordic trails (fees apply) and a Nordic center with rentals and clinics in addition to a 160 km network throughout the area providing pretty much ski-in/ski-out access along with an area bus system to move you from point to point.
Note:
Air into Boise on United, charter bus up and mountain. 5 and 6 day ikon pass options (along with full ikon pass options from encompass). Condos with several hotel rooms thrown into the mix.
Home to not one but three world-class resorts, the snowboarding and skiing in Banff National Park is second to none.
Trip Leaders: Dan Flynn & Ed Brambs
Tucked within the boundaries of Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, the ski towns of Banff and Lake Louise provide home-base to three distinctive ski resorts; Banff Sunshine, The Lake Louise Ski Resort and Mt Norquay.
The three resorts boast 7,748 acres of skiable terrain, 2 gondolas, 27 chairlifts and 30 feet of feather-light, dry Canadian Rockies powder annually – all accessible with one SkiBig3 Lift Ticket.
Banff will be hotel rooms in Banff, an Ikon pass will be bundled in the contract. Flight into Calgary, bus up the mountain
With 5317 acres of terrain, seven Legendary Back Bowls and three terrain parks, it's no wonder Vail is considered a top ski destination.
Trip Leaders: Jim Kelly & Lisa Salisbury
North America's biggest and most popular ski resort, Vail is an alpine village in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Long a favorite of serious skiers and jet setting celebrities, Vail now also draws a younger, hipper snowboarding crowd. Skiing is king at Vail Mountain and the Blue Sky Basin, but the area's vast splendor is perfect for hiking, biking, snowmobiling or scenery-gazing at any time of the year.
We are waiting for air to load (several weeks out) and housing will be condos in Lionshead Village. Lift passes will not be included, there is a wide selection that participants will have to select from separately. Flight into Denver, bus up the mountain
